    1. An auto shut-off outlet — simply plug it into an outlet, use the button to control how many hours before it automatically turns off after using, and uh yeah, it's literally THAT easy to give yourself some peace of mind after rushing out of the house again.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Features a push button so you can set the hours for eight, four, two, one, or hold.

Promising review: "This is the best design of all the countdown timers I've used. I have an individual timer or multiple outlet strip timer on every appliance that could overheat or overcharge, because I worry a lot about fire and don't trust my memory to turn things off. This helps with that!" —MysteryAuthor

Get it from Amazon for $11.49.

    2. Acne patches you can stick right onto your breakouts. Then just peel that bad boy off to see all the gunk it takes with it.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Simply just apply your patch, let it sit, go about your day, or get some sleep, take it off, and voila!

Promising review: "I’ve tried so many brands of pimple spots, and these are hands-down the best on the market. Last night, I put these on a few acne problems (a small cyst, a whitehead, and a pimple I shouldn’t have picked and has been a bump for about three weeks now). I just woke up and am writing this review in disbelief. THEY'RE FLAT! Gone! All of them! I could cry I’m so happy. The packaging is also ideal, because it allows you to conveniently and easily peel the stickers off without stretching them out or folding them back on themselves. Everyone should have these on-hand for a stubborn zit when you really need them." —Caitlyn

    3. A curling bar that, with the push of a button, will literally vibrate when time is up each time you wrap a strand of hair around it to curl. Because counting seconds yourself? That's sooo 15 seconds ago.

    Amazon, Samantha Wieder / BuzzFeed

I was first introduced to this curling bar at my hair salon a couple months back, and instantly loved the way it gave me wavy curls, instead of tight curls. I ordered it on Amazon the same day, got it two days later, and have been hooked ever since. This is SO simple to use — easier than a regular curling iron, IMO. You just take a piece of hair (I usually divide my hair into six to eight sections), wrap it around the bar, press the button, and after 15 seconds, the timer goes off, the curling bar vibrates in your hand, and you have a beautiful, flow-y curl! To keep it looking good all day without giving it that stiff feeling hairspray gives it, I use KMS Hair Play Dry Wax!

Get it from Amazon for $99.99 (available in two sizes).

    4. Paint pens to make touch-ups on your walls super simple! Fill them up like you would a syringe with your paint color of choice and then just apply to the scratch/scuff you're trying to cover up.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Love this — absolutely perfect for touchin' up little spots that need touchin' up. I have several sets filled with different paints and so far they've stayed usable, without the paint drying out. I rinse the brush really well after each use (latex paints) and recap it. It would be nice if the manufacturer put an area on the pen where you could easily label the paint info, but I use a permanent marker, and it works okay." —Hooked on Amazon!

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $9.99.

    5. A plant food spike that keep your plants fed for up to two months!

    Amazon, amazon.com

It's recommended to change the spikes every 30 days during the spring and summer months!

Promising review: "I have several houseplants that had stopped flowering, so I put a few of these spikes in the pot (there are directions on the back of package for quantity), and approximately a month after using these spikes, my peace lily had three flowers on it, and my African violets plants all got several blooms on them! This worked wonders for my plants that don't flower also! I noticed that my ivy and cactus plants started growing faster, and they became more green and healthy looking. I am very happy with this product, and I will buy it again." —Elizabeth

    6. A roll of reusable bamboo towels that are not only easy to use, because ya know, towels are a pretty self-explanatory, but they are environmentally-friendly AND will also save you money in the long-run!

    Amazon

These are machine washable (recommended to use a delicates laundry bag), although for longer shelf life, it's best to hand wash and air dry. They can be reused up to 120 times (maybe a little more). And hey, did you know that one roll of these bamboo towels replaces 60 conventional paper towel rolls? Not only is that saving the environment, but that is saving a nice chunk of cash money in your wallet. Margaritas on you, I guess?

Promising review: "I love this. These are great for those times you need a paper towel but don't want to create all the waste to throw it out. They're definitely a lot thicker than a normal paper towel, but function just as well for being easy to crumple up or soak up liquid. I've found these especially helpful for tasks that used to waste a lot of paper towels because towels didn't work for it: like cleaning the litter box, cleaning the bathroom, placing in the microwave to catch spills, cleaning up pet messes, and so on. I've already run some of them through the wash probably five to seven times and they remain just as useful as before." —Caz

    7. A dishwasher cleaning tablet to pop inside the machine and just run it through a cycle. While that's happening, grab a pair of UV-protection glasses and brace yourself for how shiny your appliance is going to be when you open it... haha just kidding... unless?!

    Amazon, amazon.com

These tablets remove odor-causing residue and help get rid of lime and mineral build-up that naturally occurs inside dishwashers. The tablet is designed to last throughout the entire wash cycle, and is recommended for use about once a month. These are safe to use in stainless steel tub and plastic tub dishwashers.

Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then, I became aware that the water softener no longer was doing its job, so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh in a magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine, and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! My glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully on a monthly basis, as recommended. I can even put it on my subscribe and save order, so I will get a new pack every six months. I am amazed!" —Sheila

Promising review: "I have been using bleach to clean my machine for some time, but decided to give this a try a few months ago. My very first clean with Affresh left me surprised and delighted, for not only did it clean my machine, it eliminated the nasty smell that always transferred to my clothes thanks to a build-up of mold I didn't even know about. Every month now, I toss a tablet into the drum and let it work its magic. Now, my machine is cleaner than ever, and my clothes always smell wonderfully fresh. I highly recommend this to everyone." —Kelli Crawford

Promising review: "Okay, I don’t normally rave about things like this. I bought this on a whim in a last attempt to save my favorite duvet cover. The pills had gotten to the point where it was seriously uncomfortable to sleep with them getting all up in my leg space. I thought I was going to have to get a new duvet cover entirely. Along came this lil' baby. Not only is my duvet cover basically brand new, but I have found a new hobby. I’m depilling everything. Sweatshirts, leggings, blankets, socks, anything that looks like it needs some love. It does the job quickly and leaves everything looking fresh. Hi, I’m obsessed. I can’t stop. When I tell you that I think this is one of my all-time favorite purchases ever, I'm not EGGagerating.... but really, I'm not. I pretty much use this every single day. Let me start by saying that the pieces themselves were self-explanatory. I opened this when I was VERY hungry and therefore had no patience to read an instruction manual, and found it super quick to figure out what to do.

It can boil up to six eggs at a time. It comes with a little measuring cup with a needle at one end that you simply pierce the larger top of the egg with, place the egg on one of the six slots of the tray with the pierced side facing up, fill the measuring cup to the soft, medium, or hard line depending on your preference, pour the water through center hole, cover the cooker, plug it in, and press the button. It makes a sound in the form of a pretty cute (and TBH, kinda catchy) song when it's ready, so you don't have to sit and wait around. I used these in my house plants that are breeding fungus gnats like crazy. I used them in conjunction with beneficial nematodes, and they definitely cut down on the number of gnats in our house. Unfortunately I added a new house plant, plus re-potted one that had outgrown its prior home, and we are wrapped up in them again. I'm buying another package of sticky traps as soon as I finish this review!" —Megan

Its oblong shape allows it to fit comfortably on counters, breakfast bars, etc., without 'overhanging,' and risking being knocked over. The locking lid with the rubberized ring is great when transporting it, (no leaking, even when using liners). The other thing I really appreciate is the 'warm' option. Having used several other products only to have the ants return, I was dreading the idea and expense of hiring professional pest control for occasional but virulent ant attacks. Then I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. If I hadn't used it myself, I wouldn't believe it. I put out the bait in the afternoon and the ants were dead and disappearing in less than 24 hours. Since the old trap had dead ants in it, it didn't look very appetizing in the kitchen so I replaced it with a new one. NO MORE ANTS!!! This product is wonderful and cost-effective. I have several more unused ant traps just waiting for the little buggers to strike again!" —Pamela K. Buck

Promising review: "Finally a kitchen utensil that saves time, mess, and frustration! I ordered this because my 10-year-old daughter loves to make pancakes but she also leaves an incredible mess. She also loves to make cupcakes and that's even a double mess. Upon receiving the batter dispenser, my daughter took it out of the package and started making pancakes right away without my instructions. She loved the ease to make the pancakes in the container and then one click on the pan with no mess." —Jim Hudson

Not I! You literally just twist the pourer onto the decanter, stick the decanter spout into the bottle, and then pour into your glass. It's cool, because you can literally see the bubbles forming at the top from it being aerated. And I did a taste test to see if I could actually tell the difference, or if this was just a phony claim... and it works. It really, actually works. It uses an air intake system to ensure an optimal amount of oxygen!

Promising review: "Purchased this as a gift for my mom. She opened it yesterday and we used it to aerate our wine for the rest of the day. Easy to use, and the wine tasted fantastic! We did a little taste test with non-aerated wine straight from the bottle vs. wine from the same bottle poured through this aerator and there was a noticeable difference. Can't beat it for the price." —Amazon Customer

My sweet four-month-old puppy was sick and threw up, but not a single drop of liquid fell down between the seats! The material soaked up enough of the fluid to keep it from seeping into the threads of the seats or splashing around before I could pull off the highway. It was SOOO much easier to clean up than had I not had these guards." —Kathy Horner

It's a heck of a lot better than getting in your car, waiting in line at Starbucks where they use some fancy schmancy giant machine to whip up your (approximately) million-dollar concoction.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

So, I totally bought this on a whim on Prime Day. It was just one of those sporadic buying decisions that I had a feeling I'd use once and never use again. *I still live at home with my parents,* and they laughed at me for buying this, because I have a tendency to buy too many things that I don't get enough use out of. Well, here we are months later, and I think my parents might even like this milk frother a tad more than I do — my mom told all of her co-workers, all of our family friends, etc. Point blank, this makes a great latte, and my dad won't even drink coffee now if it's not frothed first! All you do is take it out of the box, pop in two AA batteries (not included), put it into your drink, press the button at the top, and bam! It's magic. I personally like to froth the milk a little first, then brew the coffee from my Keurig into the same cup, and then give it another little stir with the frother for good measure.

Promising review: "This is so freaking great. I've been using white noise machines for years and years but ended up finding this through BuzzFeed. My old machine had looping audio and I hated it, so the fact that this is non-looping is everything. It's also very sleek and modern. I live in downtown Boston with construction sites literally boxing me in my building with noise nearly 24/7 between that and cops/fire trucks. This knocks out the noise and allows me to sleep or nap at any time of day without hearing anything." —ML

    32. A pet hair eraser vacuum that works the same as any other handheld vacuum you've used before, but works to specifically target hair left behind by your very good fluffer friend.

    amazon.com

Features multi-layer filtration, and a 16 foot power cord. Includes two specially-designed nozzles to pull out dirt and hair from areas like the stairs and upholstery.

Promising review: "Holy crap!! Are you skeptical when it comes to buying stuff online? ME TOO! That's why I figured all of these rave reviews were a crock of crap. I've seriously bought every kind of vacuum out there, including the Rumba, which is about as intelligent as a Q-tip. But I have four cats and a golden retriever, so I was getting desperate! I believe the saying is… a picture is worth a thousand words. Check mine out! Of note — the 'before' picture was taken of my dog's bed AFTER it went through the washer and dryer. Look at all of that left behind hair!!! And the 'after' picture was taken after only THREE MINUTES spent vacuuming her bed. I. Am. SOLD! BTW, I've NEVER taken the time to review a product before, just FYI." —Luka Chan

Promising review: "I regularly used the Tinkle facial razors which I thought worked well, but I just used one of these razors for the first time yesterday and OMG the amount of peach fuzz and to my surprise dead skin that came off was shocking and oh-so-satisfying. I will definitely be stocking up." —I & S. Stark

    34. A microfiber blind cleaner for saying goodbye to dust! 🎵 I can see the sun clearly now the dust is gone. 🎵

    Amazon

Includes five microfiber sleeves that can be washed and reused!

Promising review: "I got more excited about this find than is probably normal! This product is AMAZING! Everyone should own one. I've been using a Swiffer duster to clean my blinds. I have to clean one side, then the other, and there is STILL always dust left behind. This product is a game changer. You can clean both sides of two blinds at once and grip them firmly to get ALL the dust off. " —Sarah
