    Amazon

The removable straps mean you can wear this bra five different ways, and the five-hook closure means it'll stay up no matter what.

Promising review: “Holy crap! I have saggy nana boobies and I have struggled my whole life looking for a good strapless bra. This bra is freaking perfect! Holds them up where they used to be, the wide band smooths any bulging on my back, and it stays in place. I'm ordering one in every color! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!” —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $19.95+ (available in band sizes 34-44, cup sizes B-DD, and three colors)

    2. A underwire bra that's so secure, the only shimmying you'll be doing is on the dance floor — no more awkwardly sneaking off to hike up your bra.

    Amazon

This bra is silicone-lined for extra hold, and comes with detachable straps.

Promising review: “ This is, hands-down, the most comfortable and supportive strapless bra I have ever worn. I bought this in black to wear under a semi-formal evening dress, and over the course of seven hours — which included a great deal of driving, walking, dancing, and sweating — the bra did not budge once! I never had to adjust it or hoik it, which is nothing short of a miracle. The extra coverage in front also creates a much smoother shape under my dress than other bras generally have in the past, and the wide band across the back is comfortable and does not cut in.” —Young Wordsmith

Get it from Amazon for $12.95+ (available in band sizes 34-42, cup sizes C-DD, and three colors).

    3. A bandeau-style bra with pretty lace detailing you'll want to show off in low-cut tops. It's also wireless, which majorly ups the comfiness factor.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Since it's a bandeau, it's only sized by the band: if you're a B-D cup, just order your regular band size and the fabric will stretch to fit. If you're DD+, though, commenters who love this bra recommend ordering a band size or two up.

Promising review: “If you have a problem with slippy, slide-y, itchy, pokey, non-supportive underthings that make you look like a sausage casing... THIS strapless is SUPREME! I ride a motorcycle and wanted to wear a string top and, after reading the other reviews, I bought one and this REIGNS SUPREME! My hoots stayed perfectly in place, did not jiggle, bop, droop, slide out, pop out, swing, sway, do the hokey pokey, or give me a black eye! Love this so much that I bought all three colors! You will not be disappointed. It's perfect” —Sherrie St James

Get it from Amazon for $12.99 (available in band sizes 34-44 and three colors).

    4. A strapless bra that comes in half cup sizes, so you can finally find the perfect fit. Who knew you could actually be a C ½?

    ThirdLove

It also comes with convertible straps and is silicone-lined for extra security.

Promising review: “I stopped wearing anything that required a strapless bra because I hated them. They never stayed up, I had to adjust all the time, and it was not worth being awkward and uncomfortable. I have loved my other ThirdLove bras, so I decided to try the strapless version. Seriously, it’s amazing. I have nothing bad to say. It stays. It fits like a dream. I took it on vacation to Hawaii and wore it with four different outfits. Not a single problem with any of them.” —Courtney S.

Get it from ThirdLove for $72 (available in band sizes 32-40, cup sizes AA-G, and three colors).

    5. A seamless bra with padding around the underwire that makes it a revolution in comfort. No more poke-y wires!

    Amazon, amazon.com

It also comes with straps to convert the bra to several styles, and the silicone lining will keep it solid.

Promising review: “This is the best strapless bra I have ever worn. Its comfortable, doesn't show under clothing, and stays up. With other strapless bras, I am constantly going to the bathroom to pull it back up or am uncomfortable by making it so tight that it won't slide. My daughter wears this under leotards during ballet practice and under costumes during performances (as leotards and costumes often don't allow you to wear a regular bra without it being seen) and is very pleased with how it stays up and supports her. I hope they keep making this bra for a long time!” —KiwiZ

Get it from Amazon for $19.49+ (available in band sizes 34-38, cup sizes B-D, and three colors).

    6. A minimizer bra that'll minimize your bustline by 1.5 inches, which makes it perfect for those occasions when you want to downsize by a cup or two.

    amazon.com

Promising review: “I was skeptical about this one but OMG, this bra is amazing! I'm a size 34D, but I'm very petite so my bust looks extremely large on my frame. For my sister's wedding, I'm wearing a v-neck dress and it's lovely, but I felt like I was spilling out of it. I tried different camisoles and bralettes but nothing looked good with the neckline. I then found this minimizer bra and I am so happy I did! This bra works miracles! The dress looks fantastic and I feel so much more comfortable. This bra is life-changing!” —PinkGem

Get it from Amazon for $6.67+ (available in band sizes 34-42 and cup sizes C-DD).

    7. A Wacoal bra with a cult following because of its wide size range — they've got options for everyone from a 44C to a 30G and beyond.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: “As a 32G busted woman, I honestly have never been able to find a strapless bra at any store. They either never had my size or the rare store that did, the price was so high that I never felt justified to buy it. After reading the reviews on this, I decided to give it a try. It's definitely worth the price (especially as this is pretty reasonable compared to other prices I've seen in hard to find sizes like mine!) The bra gives great support. The material is very sturdy and has the feel of a very lightly boned corset almost. I've never felt comfortable wearing a strapless bra before.” —Bwaseo007

Get it from Amazon for $40.98+ (available in band sizes 30-44, cup sizes B-H, and five colors).

    8. An underwire bandeau that'll provide support, but without the digging and rubbing that can be bothersome from a traditional strapless bra.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: “I am freaking IN LOVE WITH THIS! HOLY CRAP!!! I have NEVER found a bandeau to work for my 34DDD bust. The band is always gigantic or the boob area is entirely too small, it just never works. Well my gosh. I was SO skeptical ordering a medium. I was like there's no way in hell this will work for me. WRONG. It's great. Seriously. It has such stretch and the underwire actually fits too. It won't give you much lift, but it does separate and doesn't squish them to the sides. The band is REALLY stretchy and I have zero issues with it falling down. The fabric is thin so it won't help you much if it's ahem, cold. I still love it though. I'll be ordering in every color.” —Minion

Get it from Amazon for $17.96+ (available in sizes XS-2X and five colors).

    9. A seamless bra constructed in one piece so it provides a super smooth line. This baby won't surprise you with any bumps or bra lines, even under the clingiest pieces.

    Amazon

Promising review: “Absolutely impressed with this bra — it held up through some pretty serious dancing and didn't budge a bit! As someone with a larger cup size, finding a sturdy strapless bra can be a bit of a challenge (not to mention when expectations fail, and one is left a bit embarrassed in front of a host of wedding guests). I will likely be purchasing this again as I am incredibly pleased with the product and design. I cannot say enough good things about this bra. It also came with removable hook straps, in case you change your mind on your outfit. Terrific buy!” —chelsea

Get it from Amazon for $29+ (available in band sizes 32-38, cup sizes B-DD, and two colors).

    10. A lace bra with a side closure instead of the traditional mid-back one. Rock this bra with a backless top and all they'll see is pretty lace.

    Macy's

Promising review: “This will become a staple strapless in my wardrobe. It's got a great wide lace back that you can show off with low cut shirts in the summer without showing off the hooks to keep the bra on. I love how supported and comfortable I feel in this bra, even though it's a strapless!” —Christina

Get it from Macy's for $44 (available in band sizes 30-38, cup sizes B-DDD, and three colors).

I was scared I would have to hide in the bathroom and pull it up countless times, but it was perfect! It's also super comfortable. I'm used to being poked by awkward wires in strapless bras, but this was a dream. I felt like I was wearing a bralette!” —Reagan

Get it from Aerie for $39.95 (available in band sizes 32-40, cup sizes AA-DD, and two colors).

    13. A roll of athletic tape that acts as a perfect bra replacement for halters and low-cut tops — the kind where a standard bra would inevitably show.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Unlike gaffer tape (used by Kim K, which BuzzFeeders discovered hurts), kinesiology tape is made to put directly on your skin, so the removal process is way easier. You should put a bandage or tissue over your nipples before you apply the tape, and be sure to remove slowly. If you have sensitive skin, be sure to do a patch test — wear a small strip somewhere like your arm so you can see if it's going to cause any irritation before the day of your event.

Promising review: “Worked well! I used this product to secure and lift my breasts so that I could wear a wonderful dress. The tape was comfortable, lasted all night in hot and humid weather, and was removed easily with little discomfort." —AK

I would wear the bra even as a bralette under a cozy cardigan — that's how beautiful and chic it looks. Plus, the quality is incredible! I highly recommend it.” —GlamWorkout

    Torrid

The straps are convertible, and it's silicone-lined for extra comfort and support.

Promising review: “I wear 46C and gravity and time has taken its toll. This bra is amazing! It has great boning on the back and had a large strip of elastic inside the back, between the cup and the hooks, that keeps it flat. It does not roll under my arms and it’s glorious. The straps are so versatile that you can wear it with ANYTHING and it truly stays up as a strapless! The cups are thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top so you have amazing support. The center keeps everything where it belongs so no uniboob. I have purchased two of every color and plan to order back up to keep if they ever discontinue. If you do not have the perkiness you once had this will help.” —Peggysuewho

Get it from Torrid for $54.90 (available in band sizes 38-50 and cup sizes B-DDD)

But I fell in love with a dress that requires a strapless bra so I gave this one a shot. First, the bra fit just as expected — not too large or small. I got the 34A which was the perfect fit, and it stayed in place even through dancing — from morning until late night it was solid and I almost forgot I was wearing anything.” —Amazon Customer

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: “I'm an A cup and it has been very difficult to find bras that fit and enhance what I have. I hate wearing strapless bras usually because they have always felt uncomfortable and flattened me out. This bra is so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing a strapless. The fit is perfect for. There is no gaping space at the top edge reminding me of how little I have to stuff in a bra. The wire does not dig in. The padding gives the perfect shape without the appearance of a padded bra. It looks totally natural.” —Antoinette Simmons

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: “I wouldn't typically write a review on such an intimate product, but I just feel like other women who have the same issue (D+ cup size) need to know about this bra. It doesn't slide down, it feels super supportive, and it doesn't look ridiculous. My only complaint is that the lining isn't seamless, so if you wear really tight clothing, you run the risk of someone seeing the outline of your bra. But I am in love. I bought this because I was going on a tropical vacation and all the pretty dresses these days require strapless bras lol. It was humid, I was sweating, and it still stayed up. BUY THIS BRA! You won't regret it!” —Corie B

I no longer pause to choose a dress/top that requires a strapless bra! It is pricy, but how do you put a price on comfort? And I’m sure it will last a long time.
