    amazon.com

Read BuzzFeed's full write-up on this stain remover!

Promising review: "If you are ever thinking you might need this, TRUST ME you do! This is only the second review I’ve ever written, but felt like I needed to because this product is so amazing. My 2-year-old threw up chocolate milk on our cream carpet. It was a complete disaster. I tried everything and nothing even made a dent in it, until this. It’s also scentless, which was great because I got the stain up right before my little girl’s bedtime. TOP NOTCH!" —Jillian Briggs

Get it from Amazon for $11.19.

    2. A mildew stain remover that'll restore tile, plastic, and even vinyl upholstery to look like it's brand stinkin' new. Really, people swear by this especially for cleaning boats, and I think these photos speak for themselves:

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Best product ever. Barely even needed a sponge. This was two years of mildew outside with a canvas cover, and only one application was needed. I tried different products, and this is the only one that works. These seats are the original OEM from 1995." —Donovan Petit

Get it from Amazon for $13.99.

    3. And for tough shower mildew, a concentrated gel that can destroy any stain in its path — I would know, this is (sadly) my moldy ol' shower:

    Kayla Suazo / BuzzFeed

OK, before you go and judge me, I'd like to defend myself and say that my building is really old. When I moved into my apartment, it looked like there hadn't been repairs since the '60s, and that included re-caulking the bathtub. I tried bleach and every type of shower cleaner at the store, but nothing removed the mold and mildew stains that had been there for like, 40 years. UNTIL I BOUGHT THIS INCREDIBLE MAGIC GEL. The before and after pictures speak for themselves, and were taken after only one treatment. I am one happy customer.

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    4. A long, bristled brush to reach in your dryer and remove the lint (the very lint that can cause lint fires!) buried at the bottom.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Saw lint in bottom of the lent vent when I removed the screen but couldn't get to it. This guy does the trick. Love that the brush is long, perfect to get down deep and pull out years of lint. At first glance I didn't think this brush would fit into the lint trap but the bristles are quite flexible and the brush slipped right in. This is also great for cleaning under the refrigerator." —budgetshopper

Get it from Amazon for $11.04.

    5. A cleaner and degreaser that'll eliminate any "I have no idea what that is" residue and leave behind sparkly CLEAN surfaces. These results do not lie!!!

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Ok background: We have vinyl strip flooring made to look like wood. We had no idea how to take care of it and had managed to wax some sort of impenetrable layer onto the floor so that mopping was ineffective. Nothing cut through this later and I had tried it all. Steamers. Boiling water. Bleach. Scrubbing Bubbles. Abrasive powders. Everything. We put this on full strength and let it sit for 20 minutes and the sludge just wiped off. We used a scraper to just easily slide the gunk off. My lord, Krud Kutter is the best stuff in the world, and there are no fumes or chemical burns." —Kathleen B.

Get ti from Amazon for $10.17.

    6. A jewelry cleaning pen — aka the ~Dazzle Stick~ — that'll do just that: Make all your favorite pieces dazzle again and rid them of that dreaded cloudiness.

    amazon.com / amazon.com

Promising review: "If I could give this 10 stars I would!!! I'm a little of a fanatic when it comes to keeping my jewelry clean, especially my wedding set. I tried this product on my diamonds, Swarovski crystals, and Brighton jewelry and the results are nothing less than amazing!!! This restored one of my Swarovski rings that I have not worn in years due to the cloudy color to a sparkling brilliance the first day I bought it!!! I cannot recommend this product enough!!! I just ordered additional wands so I don't run out!!! Home run Amazon!!!!!!!!!!" —Kristina B.

Promising review: "I rarely issue 5 stars but this product deserves it. You get step-by-step colored picture instructions, and all the necessary sandpaper, plus more than enough compound you will actually use. Prepare to spend like 30 min. on each lens. It's not difficult at all, the product works and does what it says. I immediately saw a huge difference on the look of the lights in the day and big improvement on the night, much brighter for sure. It’s like I purchased new headlights, so yes I would definitely recommend this product." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "All their products are great! But this new product they have developed knocks it out of the ball park! The pictures above are of a 2007 Nissan Titan truck I was detailing for a customer. The seats were disgusting and stained. I CAN ASSURE YOU ALL I USED WAS CAR GUYS SUPER CLEANER to clean the seats. I simply sprayed Super Clean all over the seat until it was damp, I scrubbed with a detail brush, then vacuumed all of it up and dried it with a microfiber. The results speak for themselves. amazon.com

Technically this *is* for a Hoover FloorMate — which you can get for $146.99+ — but if you don't have the money or time, this reviewer diluted the cleaner themselves and put in an empty spray bottle:

Promising review: "Wow, I'm highly impressed by this product! I bought it based on the high reviews on here. I had a bit of a 'duh' moment when I realized that it's used to be diluted in a Hoover steam cleaner (which I don't have), but I diluted it with water in an empty spray bottle and it worked just as well! I tried the Pinterest ideas with vinegar, dish soap, and baking soda but that left my kitchen smelling sour and the baking soda paste left a scratchy film over my floors that took four moppings to remove. I diluted a bit of the Hoover liquid with water in an old Windex bottle. I sprayed it all along the grout lines, waited a minute, and then started scrubbing with a grout brush. Immediately I could see the dirty liquid being pushed aside. I had a rag to wipe dry each line of grout. Granted, I was sore from scrubbing each and every line in half of my downstairs, but it was worth it when I saw the instant results. Long story short, this works! Would recommend it!" —Emily H.

Get it from Amazon for $7.35.

Promising review: "I bought this broom two years ago and it is still going strong! I have four large dogs and we have fur EVERYWHERE! This works so, so well! I am always amazed at what this picks up even after I just ran the vacuum. If you remove the head from the handle you can use the head to do in all the crevices along baseboards where fur gets trapped on the carpets. I also use it that way to do the carpet corners on the stairs. Lastly, I use it to get dust and cobwebs off the floors and ceilings. It truly is a super tool." —Roseann

I have a long-haired 20-lb. tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing – he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Kevin / amazon.com, James G. / amazon.com

Promising review: "This little guy is a game changer. It is so quiet, and so powerful. I was extremely skeptical about buying such a small, not to mention, electric pressure washer because I've only used gas pressure washers in the past. Well I moved into my house last year, and started to wash this driveway off with a friend's gas pressure washer and decided it was not worth the time because it was not getting very much of the grime/dirt off. Well look at what this thing did. This home is near the beach and flooded in Katrina, and probably hasn't ever been pressure washed. This thing worked flawlessly. I can't say enough good things about this purchase. Would buy again with confidence." —James G.

They are made out of sturdy plastic and I was able to use it both on my shower AND my sink drains before being too grossed out and needing to throw it away. I live in a rented townhouse, and for sure the complex company I rent from did not keep their drains clean because the amount of hair and gunk I pulled out was disgusting.
