This Hair Hack Using Balloons To Get Curls Is Absolutely Delusional

This is a terrible, terrible idea.

Maybe you're interested in bouncy, curly hair? Yes! Us, too.

But I'm going to go out on a limb and say sleeping with balloons in your hair overnight is probably not the best way to get it.

AND YET. Vlogger Tina Lee of MakeupWearables Hairstyles seems to think that this is an "easy" and "fun" way to get curls. As opposed to, I dunno, using a curling iron, or curlers, or any number of other devices that are actually DESIGNED to be used with hair.

And that, you know, don't pop.

This incredibly nonsensical tutorial suggests that you take some "leftover party balloons" and blow them up halfway, pin your hair around them, and then sleep on them overnight for maximal curls — as in, exactly what you might do with curlers.

How many leftover party balloons do you have hanging around your nightmare of a house?!?!?!

Also, you want me to sleep on a bunch of balloons? THAT IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN.

Looking forward to waking up when they all pop. Sounds great.

LOOK AT HOW COMFORTABLE SHE LOOKS.

    Huh, whaaaa. So natural.

And yeah, her hair looks great, but remember, SHE HAD TO SLEEP ON FUCKING BALLOONS TO GET IT.

Ain't nobody got time for that.
