BuzzFeed writer removing bright red lipstick with the makeup erasing cloth
    Taylor Miller / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "Amazing! This baby removed all my makeup including waterproof mascara. The cloth is super soft and I didn't need to wipe hard to remove everything. Wiped twice just to make sure all the makeup was gone. Best thing is all you need is water! Washed it by hand after use, and it was as good as new." —Lucy

An Instant Pot sitting on a countertop surrounded by ingredients

This handy kitchen gadget is a rice cooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sauté, yogurt maker, and warmer all in one. Read our full review of the Instant Pot!

Promising review: "This is quite possibly the coolest, most versatile kitchen gadget I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I’ve purchased two more for friends and relatives. What can it do? I think the real question is 'What can’t it do?' I truly believe you could replace every cooking appliance (including your oven and stove top) and do EVERYTHING in the Instant Pot. I purchased two sizes for my own use: the 3-quart (which is my almost-every-day workhorse for two-person dishes) and the 8-quart (which I bring out to handle my dinner party dishes). Everything I’ve tried has been fabulous. In the realm of kitchen appliances, there is no better investment than the Instant Pot. Highly recommended!!!" —Stereoman

Get it from Amazon for $59.99+ (available in three sizes).

    4. A pack of eco-friendly glass straws you can reuse over and over again! They're wide enough to easily drink your favorite smoothie (and they're cute too).

A glass straw in a cup of water with lemon

These straws come with two brushes for easy cleaning.

Promising review: "There is always a concern with glass. Is it sharp? Is it too small or too large? I have to say, I was very impressed. The glass straws are about the same size as a 'Golden Arches' straw so the size is just about right. The ends are rolled and polished for smoothness and durability. I can detect no difference in size between the straws — all are uniform and well-made. A very good purchase!" —Ron C

Get an eight-pack (four bent, four straight) from Amazon for $7.95.

    5. A multipurpose drying rack you can also use as a prep board, flat colander, and trivet! The best part? It rolls up so it's easy to stow away when not in use.

An over-the-sink drying rack with three drinking glasses on it

It's heat-resistant up to 400°F and can be tossed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

Promising review: "It is incredibly versatile and a wonderful addition to our kitchen. So far I have used it for drying large items over the sink, filling a pot when the sink was already full, and as a counter trivet for a hot pan, and it performs beautifully in all these roles. The metal rods are strong and sturdy enough to hold heavy items, long enough to span our sink from multiple angles, and best of all, it rolls up for easy storage when not in use. All around a great kitchen tool, and I'll never be without one again." —T. Eicher

Get it from Amazon for $20.98.

    6. A cable organizer box designed to hide pesky cords and messy power strips. Don't worry, it's ventilated! No overheating electronics in my house!

Get it from Glossier for $12 (available in nine flavors).

    8. A slim key organizer made from eco-friendly vegetable-tanned leather that'll put an end to awkwardly hunting for the right key at the door.

A hand holding a black leather key organizer showing multiple keys neatly stacked inside

It also comes with a stainless-steel multitool that works as a box opener, bottle opener, and flathead screwdriver all in one.

Promising review: "Not cheap, but sort of life-changing. That being said, I am very happy with this purchase. The leather is higher quality than expected (and I much prefer a leather key organizer over the metal versions), the screw and washers do their jobs (it holds its retention pretty well). This key system really does change how you operate — not only do your keys not jingle, but they are also organized, and after a few weeks muscle memory kicks in, and you instinctively know which key is where on the ring. It's a great feeling if you are borderline OCD like me!" —Chris E.

Get it from Amazon for $29.95 (also available in brown).

    9. A streamlined garment rack for you to elegantly show off all the clothes that don't fit in your too-small closet.

Several articles of clothing hanging on a garment rack with shoes and a bin resting on the attached bottom wire shelf

Promising review: "Super super pleased with this purchase. This stores and holds so many items it's ridiculous. It also seems very sturdy, and it looks so nice, not like those cheap pieces of plastic you’ll find all over. Highly recommend!!"—Renee McDermid

Get it from Amazon for $29.97 (also available in white).

    10. A storage ottoman with a reversible lid that converts to a wooden tray. The set also includes a smaller, matching stool that can be used as a relaxing footrest or additional seating!

Two matching beige ottomans, the larger of which has a wooden tray top with a cup and TV remote on it

The small ottoman fits into the large one when not in use.

Promising review: "Very pleased with this purchase. The ottoman is very attractive and despite being faux leather, the quality is very nice. Living in a modest-sized apartment in New York, the fact that it can easily serve all of the functionality of an ottoman, small coffee table, tray, and storage unit makes it extremely useful when space comes at a premium. There are a lot of similar products, but the fact the top to this one reverses as a fully functional tray is what helped separate this from the rest. The mini ottoman/stool is a nice touch, but keeping it inside the ottoman itself eliminates the storage functionality of the product, so there is a bit of a trade off there. We've been able to stash it elsewhere and use it when needed, so it's actually a nice bonus. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice bit of modern and functional furniture." —Mike Moore

Get it from Amazon for $67.86+ (available in four colors).

    11. A set of airtight storage containers that'll keep your dried goods fresher for longer. These will get even the messiest of pantries on the path toward #organizationgoals.

Six OXO Pop Containers of various sizes filled with a mix of dry ingredients from pasta to chocolate chips
    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

My colleague Rebecca O'Connell swears by these! In her own words:

"The sleek-looking containers keep food fresh and presentable, so you don't have to get a lecture when your mom visits and peeks into your cabinets. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate your various needs. So far I've used them for sugar, flour, cornmeal, Wheat Thins, spaghetti, pretzels, and almonds. Each container has a big button on top that you can press to open or seal the jar. It's so satisfying to pop these things open that I can't imagine using a different container system ever again."

Get a five-piece set from Amazon for $49.95.

    12. A set of clear bins to transform any vanity or desk drawer into an organized oasis.

Six clear bins in a drawer organizing an array of beauty supplies

Promising review: "Great product! I bought these to put in my nightstand drawer to store small things, as the drawer is very deep. I've got Chapstick, hand lotions, a small flashlight, and other bedside items in them so they're not just rolling around the drawer. I just bought some more for my bathroom vanity. They fit together nicely but also lift right out of each other. The plastic is sturdy, and they came individually wrapped to keep them from scratching." —Sparkyj

Get a six-piece set from Amazon for $15.99.

    13. A magnetic rack that'll keep the spices you use most often organized and accessible. To install this floating shelf, just stick it to any metal surface and you're done!

A white magnetic shelf rack holding a mix of spices and oils on the side of a refrigerator

Designed for lightweight objects, this shelf holds up to 3.3 pounds.

Promising review: "I freaking love these things. I needed to clean out a spice drawer and was looking for something clean, sleek, and modern to hold my eight or so most used spices within reach. These have a really strong magnet on the back and hold four tiny mason jars of spices beautifully on the side of my fridge. I bought two and have four jars in each one. I could probably stuff eight jars in one rack, but I like them spread out a bit. This is just so much cuter than anything else I found. These look way more expensive than they are, and this is cheaper than the price on Food52 where I originally found them. Highly recommend!" —Alyssa M.

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    14. A compact silicone case to put an end to tangled earbuds, and make them 10x easier to find in your bag.

Promising review: "This fits my oddly shaped Westone earbuds quite well. The soft case stays closed over the buds and keeps the cord from getting tangled or damaged. That's what I bought it for, and I am completely satisfied." —Richard Hussong

Get it from Amazon for $9.95 (available in seven colors).

    15. A multipurpose metal stand that'll work double duty as a bottle drying rack and tabletop plastic bag holder. It also folds flat for easy storage!

Read a BuzzFeed writer's Yamazaki bottle rack review (#1 on the list!) for more ideas on how to use it.

Promising review: "I stumbled on this product searching for something to dry bottles. I am so glad I took a chance on it. I love it for drying bottles. It does everything the reviews list. I was sold on it because it looked so easy to store, but honestly it hasn't left my counter top since it arrived. The way it opens and adjusts lends itself to any number of uses. My favorite part it that I can hold up large awkward items like cookie sheets and a 9x13 pan to dry. I have used it for holding open gallon bags to fill. Such a simple design and well executed." —My Old KY Home

Get it from Amazon for $17.99+ (available in two colors).

    16. A quick-dry shower curtain (or liner) with plenty of pockets to organize shampoo bottles and loofahs when bathroom storage space is tight.

A clear shower curtain around a clawfoot bathtub with pockets holding shampoo bottles, washcloths, and other bathtime accessories

One BuzzFeed editor swears by this shower curtain — read her Maytex shower curtain review (#2 on this list) if you're ready to break up with your shower caddy.

Promising review: "I saw this in an online article about getting organized and decided to give it a shot. I absolutely love it. A friend laughed when I described it as life-changing, but it really is! I love that there is no more clutter, but another plus that never occurred to me is how much easier cleaning the tub is. Not only because it's already clear, but also because there are no little rust rings that usually come from bottles being left on the edge of the tub. I don't know why all shower curtains aren't made this way!" —Valerie

Get it from Amazon for $19.

    17. A magnetic knife strip that'll organize your cooking tools with the added benefit of making your kitchen look like a 5-star restaurant!

A hand placing a knife against the magnetic knife strip mounted on a tile wall

Promising review: "I want order another one! I wish I had thought to purchase one of these sooner. The magnet is strong and holds plenty of my everyday knives. I decided to put it on the side of my fridge and it holds perfectly. I didn't need anything extra to hold it in place either. I'd like to get one more for the rest of my tools because this is so much better than the block! Now I have more counter space." —RayJoni07

Get it from Amazon for $17.99.

You can use it as a shower gel, shampoo, and bubble bath. Plus, it's paraben-free, cruelty-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, synthetic color and dye-free, and synthetic fragrance-free.

Promising review: "Good soap and I like the natural smell. Washes off easily and leaves skin feeling good. Usually [I'm] not picky about soap, but I had a few extra bucks, and consider this soap a small luxury. The pleasant smell is uplifting first thing in the morning trying to wake up, and helps you get going. I'd seriously consider buying again." —RICH G

Three floating shelves stacked with books

Promising review: "I cannot believe how awesome these bookshelves look in my room. With my classic leather bound books stacked neatly on top, these apparently floating books give the room a sense of charm and intrigue. I am so glad I got these shelves. They are easy to install and each can safely hold three of my large leather-bound books. They do not wobble or shake. They are very stout and sturdy, and I do not have any worries with the weight they bear. I am confident they will securely hold to the wall and keep my books (and sheetrock) unharmed. The metal is durable and longlasting. So many of my friends and family have complimented these statement pieces and have gotten some of their own book collections." —Burrells

Get a three-pack from Amazon for $30 (available in two sizes and two colors).

Promising review: "The battery life beats any tablet out there and the screen is easy on your eyes. Very simple to use and understand and can be up and running in moments. This is my four Kindle and second Paperwhite. I liked my first Paperwhite so much, I wanted a second for travel as I always seemed to forget mine trying to pack it at the last moment. I have an iPad but much prefer reading on the Paperwhite." —loveto travel

    23. A modern wall-mounted coat rack with retractable hooks that won't eat up valuable floor space when not in use.

The five-hook shelf holding a bag and a scarf

Promising review: "I love the simplicity of this design. Something about being able to fold away the hooks when they're not in use is very satisfying to me. This purchase is actually to replace the one that I lost during a move — I missed it enough that I decided a different set of hooks wouldn't do! Mounting it to the wall was quite simple with the included template. I used the anchors on regular drywall, and it feels very secure — I have no worries hanging up multiple jackets and purses on it." —Tolana

Get it from Amazon for $24.38+ (available in two sizes and 11 finishes).

    24. A felt purse organizer for adding easy-to-access pockets to the inside of your tote bag that you wish had them already.

A felt purse organizer surrounded by an assortment of pens, makeup, jewelry, and a small notebook that can fit inside

Promising review: "Perfect for my needs! I purchased the tall organizer rather than the shorter one because it's exactly what I was looking for. It fits PERFECTLY in my Baggu-brand Duck tote bag. This tote only has one small inside pocket near the top inside so, expectedly, everything else you throw in just covers the bottom and piles up in the bag. One has to dig around for anything and everything. With that said, THIS organizer allows you to put lots of things in their own pocket so that you can quickly retrieve it without wasting time digging around. Other items (perhaps, taller items) can be put in the main section that is the length of the organizer. I purchased one and am now purchasing two more as gifts for people who I know also own tall tote bags like mine. If you have a tall tote, you can't go wrong buying this product. I highly recommend it." —A. E.

Get it from Amazon for $12.88+ (available in two sizes and multiple colors).

    25. A set of vertical closet organizers that'll instantly double your storage space without sacrificing any clothes to the donation bin.

A closet full of clothes labeled "Before" followed by a much emptier closet labeled "After" with clothes hanging on space-saving vertical organizers

Promising review: "I'm so impressed by these little hangers! I figured I'd cut down on my closet clutter by hanging basic tops from these instead of side by side, but I did not expect four Wonder Hangers to almost double my closet space. These are amazing for work shirts, dress clothes, and stuff you don't necessarily wear every day but want to hang up to avoid wrinkles. They are very sturdy, I filled one with just cardigans and blazers and it held up just fine. They do get pretty bulky in terms of width, but you're still using far less space than you would if all of the clothing was hanging directly on the closet rod. I'll definitely be buying more!" —Danielle

Get a four-pack from Amazon for $19.99 (available in five finishes).

    26. An ice cube tray with a lid so you don't have to worry about spillage every time you refill it. It'll also keep your cubes from absorbing any weird freezer odors.

A hand placing an ice cube tray with a lid into a crowded freezer

Promising review: "I absolutely LOVE ice cubes in my drinks, and it's so annoying to have ice cube problems. I really researched ice cube trays and read a lot of reviews until I found these trays. It's so nice not to have to worry about spilling water just trying to get them in there. Also, they come out of the tray so easily! No more fighting to get the cubes out. These just kind of pop out when you press down on one side." —Kalisa

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    27. A set of rainbow mixing bowls and measuring cups that nest neatly together to save space and add color.

An open drawer showing the rainbow set of bowls and measuring cups nested together in one stack

This set comes with a 4.8-quart large mixing bowl, 3.2-quart colander, 1.75-quart steel sieve strainer, 0.5-quart small mixing bowl with measurements, four measuring cups (1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup), and one tablespoon. The plastic is BPA-free, and all pieces except for the steel sieve are dishwasher-safe.

Promising review: "This bowl and measuring set is great for someone who wants to add some color to their kitchen but doesn't want to give up a lot of space. I have a small kitchen with limited cabinet space, so this set was the perfect solution to my issue. The bowls are very sturdy and work well, and the measuring set is great. It is nice to have everything all in one place and not have to search for a bowl or a cup to measure when cooking. I take this out and I am ready to cook. The non-slip base on the bowls is a nice feature and keeps the bowl in place while mixing ingredients." —Trickster

Get a 9-piece set from Amazon for $34.99.

    28. A handmade utensil and tablet holder to make it easier to follow online recipes and keeps your tech safe when making a mess in the kitchen.

The utensil holder filled with wooden spoons with a tablet nested in the front surrounded by a cutting board and citrus
    Uncommon Goods

Promising review: "As a kitchen utensil and tablet holder, the design is something you will want to display, but the function is gold. Trying to find somewhere to wedge a laptop and not interfere with the meal prep process or trying to use a tablet that wasn't always falling over or onto the floor was extremely trying. Having to keep walking across the kitchen while following a recipe is annoying at best and not a solution. On first use of this product, I'm happy to say those days are gone! The well is large enough to fit the necessary cooking utensils, or flowers if you like, along with a shelf that securely holds a tablet in place, yet remains compact enough not to interfere with meal prep at all. And having the convenience of your recipe at the right height and the right place — I cannot recommend this piece highly enough. Very well done!" —Mike

Get it from Uncommon Goods for $60.

    29. A set of double-sided shower hooks that glide over the rod without the usual tugging and pulling. The additional hook also makes changing out the lining way less of an ordeal.

Double-sided shower hooks hung on a rod with a curtain strung on one side and a liner on the other

Promising review: "I'm so happy to no longer have to deal with the shower curtain or liner falling off of the hook. I love the fact that the double hook allows me to remove either the liner or shower curtain without the hassle of removing both. I don't know why I waited so long to order these." —Tanner L.

Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three finishes).

    30. A handy password journal to remember your ever-growing collection of logins. Reset your password? Not this time!

It's alphabetized so you can easily find the one you need!

Promising review: "This was exactly what I wanted. The book has a heavy plastic cover and heavy-duty wire binding. The paper is good quality, although my favorite gel pens did have some bleed-through. I'd recommend ballpoint or pencil. The entries have wide spaces, with room for website, email, username, password, and notes (which is perfect for noting the answers to those security questions... What's your favorite ice cream flavor? I don't remember what I answered a year ago!). The password section has a good number of extra lines, for those sites that make you change your password with annoying frequency." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $7.99+ (available in three sizes)

    31. A multipurpose bowl and colander combo so you can rinse, mix, and serve food with just one dish. Think of all the after-dinner washing time you'll save!
