    3. The Walking Dead

A man standing before a fence with zombies on the other side struggling to get to him.
    AMC

What it's about: The apocalyptic series depicts a group of strangers who team up in order to survive the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. They band together to try and stay alive under constant threat of zombie attacks which they call "walkers". However, walkers are not their only threat, with the fall of humanity, the group also face conflict from other survivors leading to juicy squabbles.

Why it's Binge worthy: Each episode of The Walking Dead gets better and better with the conflict, the drama and the suspense. In my opinion, the best part is the characters. You fall in love with so many complex personalities in this show and you only grow more attached as the episodes go on, but remember, this isn't a fairytale, it's a zombie apocalypse and your favourites have to fight to survive.

A man and woman smiling as they gaze into the distance.

What it's about: The West Wing (1999-2006) has been ranked as one of the best television shows of all time by many. The fictional political drama depicted the work and personal lives of senior presidential advisers and it's back for first time in 17 years with the original cast. They have reunited for a great cause, reinforcing the importance of voting in alignment with the US presidential election.

Why it's Binge worthy: American political dramas are always really good and if you're an OG fan of The West Wing then it's a treat to see the original cast reunite nearly 20 years later. Australia doesn't have comparable political dramas, so we'll live vicariously through our American counterparts drama and binge this in one sitting.

Why it's Binge worthy: I've never seen anything quite like Lovecraft Country, with the juxtaposition of the 1950's segregated supernatural setting, it's unlike any Jim Crow era depiction made. This series transports you into another world with terror, monsters, race wars, magic, and mystery. Each episode gets crazier and you find you have more questions as the series goes on, but you can't stop. It's the perfect spooky night binge.
